He likes fighting a lot. ...it's how we met again, I promised him I'd fight him if he could find me again. I do enjoy it too - especially with him. It's very exciting.

You need to find something your target won't be able to ignore. I imagine if you just show up naked he'll go away, but maybe you can try actually fighting him, too.
