I don’t lose either… [ not when it matters anyway. ] Didn’t take the hint… we could have had him owing the two of us. [ he tsks, a little disappointed he couldn’t put a bullet in reverse’s head. ] Who is his stooge, hm… it’s a ‘he’. [ since he let that slip. ]

[he reaches up to fix his hair - the hole in his head is still there and curiously, he pokes at it]

This will take a while . . . Having him owe you can backfire too. It's better to keep your distance from him. All risk and no reward.

[ he sets a hand on his shoulder and tugs him backward, straight into himself. he swats at the hand that's being used to pick his brain, quite literally, and purrs into his ear. ] Shhhh. How about you stop thinking for a moment. That's bound to make this worse. Sit. [ he steers him back toward his seat. ] Let me take care of this for you. As best I can. I am a bit responsible.

[he does go with the tug, but then gently extracts himself to step back, chuckling]

There's nothing to take care of. It will likely heal on it's own. Probably, at least!

But I do think that's a fine place to end our first meeting, yes? I have some cleaning to do.

[ he lifts his hands up. ] If you say so, then I’ll take my leave.

[he hums and gestures over to the room that's now Gambler's] Of course, and remember: make yourself at home.
